About Us

Our Journey — A Timeline of Legacy & Evolution

1980s | The Foundation
Our story began over 40 years ago when Mr. Naim Uddin laid the foundation of our family jewellery business in Karachi. With a deep understanding of traditional craftsmanship, the business initially focused exclusively on gold jewellery, serving both local clients and international buyers.

1990s | Entering International Markets
As our reputation for quality and reliability grew, our work expanded beyond Pakistan. During this period, we successfully established export relationships in the USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom, supplying gold jewellery that met strict international standards.

2000s | Strengthening Global Trust
With decades of experience, our family business became a trusted name among overseas buyers. Long-term partnerships were built on consistency, ethical practices, and precision craftsmanship—values that remain central to us today.

2010s | Market Evolution & New Vision
As global jewellery trends evolved and customers sought more versatile and accessible options, we adapted to the changing market. Drawing from our goldsmith heritage, we expanded into 925 sterling silver jewellery, applying the same standards of quality, finishing, and design excellence.

Today | The Silver Atelier
Today, The Silver Atelier represents the modern chapter of our family legacy. Led by the next generation—Mr. Junaid Ahmed and Mr. Hummayun Ahmed—we continue to serve retail and wholesale customers across Pakistan while maintaining the export-quality mindset shaped by decades of international experience.

Founder's Spotlight

Mr. Naim Uddin, the founder of our family business, is the cornerstone of everything we do today. With over four decades of hands-on experience in jewellery making, his philosophy was simple yet powerful:

never compromise on quality, honesty, or craftsmanship.

Starting with gold jewellery at a time when precision and trust defined success, he built a business rooted in long-term relationships rather than short-term gains. His dedication enabled our family to enter and sustain demanding export markets such as the USA, Canada, and the UK, long before global exposure became common.

Even today, his values continue to guide The Silver Atelier. The discipline of gold craftsmanship, the respect for materials, and the responsibility attached to a family name remain deeply embedded in our work—now expressed through refined sterling silver jewellery for a new generation.
